十一年春，晋侯使以丕郑之乱来告。
In the spring of the eleventh year, the envoys of the Marquis of Jin came to report the rebellion of Pizheng.

In the spring of the eleventh year, Duke Hui of Jin sent an envoy to report the rebellion launched by Pi Zheng.
天王使召武公、内史过赐晋侯命。受玉惰。过归，告王曰：“晋侯其无后乎。王赐之命而惰于受瑞，先自弃也已，其何继之有？礼，国之干也。敬，礼之舆也。不敬则礼不行，礼不行则上下昏，何以长世？”
The King of Heaven summoned Duke Wu and Nei Shiguo to give him the order of Marquis of Jin. Accept jade laziness. When he returned home, he told the king: "The Marquis of Jin has no heirs. The king gave him the order but he was too lazy to accept the honor. He gave up on himself first. How can he continue? Etiquette is the foundation of the country. Respect is the basis of etiquette. If you don't respect the etiquette, you will not be able to do it. If you don't do the etiquette, you will be in a coma. How can you live forever?"
周襄王派遣召武公、内史过以荣宠赐给晋惠公。晋惠公接受瑞玉的时候精神不振作。内史过回去，向周襄王报告说：“晋侯的后代恐怕不能享有禄位了吧！天子以荣宠赐给他，他反而懒散地接受瑞玉，这就是先自暴自弃了，他还会有什么继承人？礼，是国家的躯干；敬，是载礼的车箱。不恭敬，礼就不能实施；礼不能实施，上下就昏乱，如何能长久？”
King Xiang of Zhou sent Duke Zhaowu and Nei Shiguo to honor Duke Hui of Jin. Duke Hui of Jin was in low spirits when he accepted Ruiyu. The internal historian went back and reported to King Zhou Xiang: "I'm afraid the descendants of the Marquis of Jin will not be able to enjoy the honorary position! The emperor bestowed honors on him, but he lazily accepted the jade. This means that he has given up on himself first. What kind of successor will he have? Ritual is the trunk of the country; respect is the carriage that carries the ritual. If you are not respectful, the ritual cannot be implemented; if the ritual cannot be implemented, the up and down will be confused. How can it last long?"
夏，扬、拒、泉、皋、伊、洛之戎同伐京师，入王城，焚东门，王子带召之也。秦、晋、伐戎以救周。秋，晋侯平戎于王。
