Hua Yuan had already dug the Suishui embankment, closed the city gate and climbed onto the city wall. Zuo Shi, two Sikou officers, and two chief ministers fled to Chu. Huayuan sent Xiang Xu as Zuo Shi, Lao Zu as Sima, and Le Yi as Sikou to pacify the people in the country.
晋三郤害伯宗，谮而杀之，及栾弗忌。伯州犁奔楚。韩献子曰：“郤氏其不免乎！善人，天地之纪也，而骤绝之，不亡何待？”
