二十一年夏五月，越人始来。

秋八月，公及齐侯、邾子盟于顾。齐有责稽首，因歌之曰：“鲁人之皋，数年不觉，使我高蹈。唯其儒书。以为二国忧。”
In the eighth month of autumn, the Duke, the Marquis of Qi, and Zhuzi allied themselves with Gu. Qi You was responsible for the inspection, and because of the song he said: "The Gao of the Lu people, I haven't realized it for several years, and I am so proud. I only have Confucian books. I think the two countries are worried."
秋季，八月，鲁哀公和齐平公、邾隐公在顾地结盟。齐国人责备从前叩头而哀公不相应回礼那件事，因而唱歌说：“鲁人的罪过，几年还没有自己察觉，使我们发怒暴跳。正由于他们只拘泥儒家之书，造成了两国苦恼又忧愁。”
In autumn, in August, Duke Ai of Lu formed an alliance with Duke Ping of Qi and Duke Yin of Zhu in Gu. The people of Qi blamed the incident of kowtowing and mourning the duke but not responding in return, so they sang: "The sins of the people of Lu have not been noticed for several years, which makes us angry and furious. It is precisely because they only adhere to Confucian books that they cause distress and sorrow to the two countries."
是行也，公先至于阳谷。齐闾丘息曰：“君辱举玉趾，以在寡君之军。群臣将传遽以告寡君，比其复也，君无乃勤。为仆人之未次，请除馆于舟道。”辞曰：“敢勤仆人？”
That's it, the Duke went to Yanggu first. Qiulu Qiu Xi said: "The emperor is humiliated and raises his jade toe to defend the army of the few kings. The ministers will send a message to the few kings and compare them with the restoration. The king is diligent. If you are a servant, please leave the palace and go to the boat road." The speech said: "Dare you be a diligent servant?"
这一趟，哀公先到阳穀。齐国的闾丘息说：“劳驾君王亲自光临，来慰劳寡君的军队，臣下们将要用驿车向寡君报告。等到他们报告回来，君王未免太劳累了。由于仆人没有准备好宾馆，请在舟道暂设行馆。”哀公辞谢说：“岂敢烦劳贵国的仆人？”
This time, Duke Ai arrived at Yanggu first. Lu Qiu Xi of Qi State said: "Excuse me, the king, to come in person to comfort my army. The ministers will use the post carriage to report to me. By the time they report back, the king will be too tired. Since the servants have not prepared a hotel, please temporarily set up a hotel on the boat road." Duke Ai thanked him and said, "How dare I bother your servants?"
